Heating work is broader than boilers. A house that feels cold can have a perfectly healthy boiler and a problem elsewhere: sludge settling in radiators, a pump struggling, a diverter valve sending heat the wrong way, a thermostat in the wrong place or a system that has never been balanced. A heating engineer looks at the whole circuit, from the boiler or heat pump through the pipework and radiators to the controls, and works out which part is letting the rest down.
