Who we are
Graham Oliver Plumbing & Heating is a plumbing and heating business based in Kelso, covering the Scottish Borders and East Lothian. We are responsible for the personal information you send us through this website. You can contact us about this notice at info@grahamoliverplumbing.co.uk or on 07747 002334.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through one of our forms, we collect the details you choose to give us:
- your name and phone number
- your email address, if you provide it
- your postcode or town, if you provide it
- the service you need and any message about your project
- the page of the website you sent the enquiry from
If you phone or email us directly, we keep the details you give us in the same way.
Why we use it
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a visit or survey, give you a quote and, if you go ahead, carry out and follow up the work. We do not use them for marketing mailings, and we never sell or rent your information to anyone.
Our lawful basis
Under UK data protection law, we rely on two lawful bases: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, such as preparing a quote, and our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us and running our business.
Where your details go
When you submit a form, your enquiry is saved to the secure database that runs this website and is also emailed to info@grahamoliverplumbing.co.uk using a form-to-email service. These providers process the information on our behalf only to store and deliver your enquiry.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and to keep reasonable business and tax records. When they are no longer needed, we delete them.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also object to how we use it. Email info@grahamoliverplumbing.co.uk and we will respond as required by data protection law.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
