Yes — modern air source heat pumps operate efficiently down to around -15°C. We size and design every system specifically for your property and the Scottish climate.
Modern units are very quiet — typically 40–45 dB at a few metres, similar to a quiet fridge. We position the outdoor unit sensibly to minimise any noise.
Sometimes. Heat pumps run at lower flow temperatures, so larger radiators or underfloor heating give the best efficiency. We assess this during the design and include any upgrades in your quote.
Most installations take 3–5 days on site, plus the design and grant paperwork beforehand. We handle the full process, including MCS certification.
