Gas safety and plumbing in Eyemouth
Eyemouth is on the Berwickshire coast, about 24 miles from Kelso. Most people who find us from Eyemouth are looking for gas safety certificates. We also service boilers, repair leaks and fit bathrooms in the town, so a landlord or owner can use one firm for the safety check and whatever follows from it.
Gas safety records for let homes
Eyemouth has holiday lets and long-term rentals as well as family homes, and every rented property with gas appliances needs an annual safety check. We inspect the boiler, hob and any other gas appliances, test the flues and issue the record. If something fails we explain the reason and quote for the repair so you can get the property back in order quickly.
Coastal conditions
Salt air near the sea is hard on anything metal that lives outdoors. When we fit or service a boiler flue or an outdoor heat pump unit on the coast, we pay attention to where it sits and how it is protected, and we point out corrosion early during servicing so it does not become a breakdown.
